Undoubtedly, communication technology brings us a new social space and back to the tribal period. We’re in the past such as people have pub or bar, little-clad, and insufficient knowledge of sex, as McLuhan divided history into three parts: the preliterate period, the individual stage and the electronic stage. Electronic media caused retribalization and globalization, and gave a multiple sense, multimedia, and non-linear world.
One problem had come up in the information eag is a digital divide that I still worry about. I think a digital divide as like as a poverty gap. It is strengthened and expanded by information technology and exists forever. “The water that bears the boat is the same that swallows it up.”, hope we can use the strengths of technology to solve problems.
